Day - 1Arrival at Delhi
Arrive today in India’s capital city of Delhi. On arrival you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Delhi.
Delhi : is the capital of India, which has a strong historical background. Being the capital of Delhi, Delhi is the second largest metropolis in the country. Delhi total area of the city is 1,483 sq km. The population of the city is around 18 million
The main languages spoken in the city are - Hindi , Punjabi , Urdu and English.
This is the most ancient city of India. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 2Delhi
Morning after breakfast city tour of Delhi. Old & New Delhi.
Drive Pass Red Fort Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan, the builder of Taj Mahal in Agra, The construction lasted from 1639 to 1648 (Monday Closed) visit Jama Masjid Built by Mughal Emperor Shahjahan which is the largest mosques in India where 25,000 people can pray in the open courtyard at time. And the length of the Mosque is 40 Meters (130 ft) & Width is 27 Meters (90 ft).
Rajghat : The simple square platform of black marble marks the place where the father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated where you can see the internal flame is burning.
Later in the afternoon visit New Delhi. Qutub Minar: Qutub Minar is an excellent example of Afghan Architecture. The Minar is 72.5mts high victory tower, the construction of which began in the final year of the twelth century by Qutubuddin Aibak and was later completed by his successor. It has been (UNESCO) World Heritage Site in 1993.
Humayun's Tomb : Built by Humayun's widow, Bega Begum (also known as Haji Begum), in 1565-1572, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect Haji Begum in the 16th century with beautiful char Bagh (Garden). The building is made of red sandstone and white marble.
DRIVE PASS : India Gate : India Gate is the memorials to soldiers, died in the First World War, built in 1921.
President Palace : Designed and developed by the famous English architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869- 1944). The official residence of the president of India and all government buildings.
Day - 3Delhi – Srinagar By Air
Morning after breakfast transfer to Airport to board a flight for Srinagar. Srinagar – Is enthralling experience to begin. Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the major tourist destinations in India. It is well known for the beautiful Mughal gardens, subtle lakes and the striking boat houses in the backdrop of the scenic view of the hills and the ranges. Upon arrival at Srinagar, meet with our representative and transfer to House Boat. Evening enjoy a Shikara ride on the Famous Dal Lake with the natural beauty. A Lake surrounded by Mountains. Overnight at houseboat.
Day - 4Srinagar
Morning after breakfast, city tour, visit Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh, Tulip Garden, Shankracharya Temple, Chashma Shahi Garden, the garden of pleasure and Shalimar Bagh, the abode of love. Overnight at the houseboat either Hotel.
Day - 5Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (Approx 55 kms)
Early morning after breakfast day excursion to Gulmarg. Exploration of the place is at your hand. Enjoy the panoramic view of the location, visit the local sites and the cable car ride is recommended, which takes you till the Khilanmarg Snow Point. There are two phases of first phase you can enjoy the natural beauty surrounded by mountains. On second phase (Subject to whether open / close). Later in the evening drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at hotel either Houseboat.
Day - 6Srinagar - Sonamarg - Kargil (205 KM, 05 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kargil. En-route visit Sonamarg (2740 meters), another beautiful village of the valley, offering a mesmerizing view to the onlooker. You will cross the Zojila pass, situated at the height of 3527 meters. Also known as the Gateway of Ladakh. Move on to Drass, where you stop for refreshment and photo ID formalities. Later drive to Kargil. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel
Day - 7Kargil - Leh (220 KM, 04 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast free at leisure on your own. Later, drive to Leh. On the way make stop at the popular attractions. Visit Alchi Monastery. The Buddhist monastery, Alchi Gompa was founded between 958 - 1055 AD. The complex is placed on the banks of River Indus. One of Ladakh's most important Buddhist centers of learning, this monastery houses some old miniature paintings.
The Alchi monastery dates back to nearly one thousand years and so the effect of the Tibetan influence can be seen in the local culture. Later visit the Magnetic Hill- It is one of the wonders of the Himalayas, visit Gurdwara Pathar Sahib - The Gurdwara was built in 1517 AD to commemorate the visit to the Ladakh region of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 8Leh
Morning after breakfast free for leisure activities. Later in the afternoon visit Shanker Gompa Sankar Gompa Monastery is the auxiliary of the Monastero Spituk which was institutionalized by the Red Hat Institution. On the other hand, they were taken over in the 15th century by the Yellow Hat sect. Those who come to this Sankar Gompa Monastery for staying are generally from Gelugpa Order and these people are believed to be the consecutive incarnations of the Skyabaje Bakula Rinpoche. Sankar Gompa Monastery is a modern type of the Monastery with striking cluster of buildings erected in the midst beautiful tall trees across the town, in the region of Khardung La which is a 5,359 m pass that goes from Leh to the Nubra and Shylock Valleys.. Overnight in the hotel.
Day - 9Leh - Khardongla pass - Leh (Approx 40 kms one way)
Morning after breakfast full day-trip to Khardongla pass. It is well-known as the worlds highest motorable road at an altitude of 5600 meters. Enjoy the amazing surroundings with the snow-covered peaks and lush greenery. Later in the evening drive back to Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 10Leh - Delhi
Morning after breakfast / Later in the afternoon transferred to the Leh airport to board a flight to Delhi. Upon transfer to the international airport / Railway Station to board a flight / Train for your onward destination.
