Lotus Temple : You will visit the Lotus Temple of the Bahai faith house of worship, which is broad in its outlook, and scientific in the influence it exerts on the hearts and minds of men. With its gleaming lotus-like marble structure, perched on Bahapur Hills in south Delhi, the temple is a must-visit for every tourist to the city. Constructed in 1986, it is the 7th most modern Bahai house of worship in the world.
Laxminarayan Temple (Birla Mandir) : Laxminarayan Temple (Birla Mandir), a Hindu temple built in 1933 in honor of the Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi & Vishnu. A manifestation of Lord Vishnu, the walls of the temple are beautifully decorated with various Hindu symbols and quotes from the Gita and the Upanishads.
Gurdwara Bangla Sahib : Continue your tour at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, originally a bungalow belonging to Raja Jai Singh from Jaipur. Who was Indian ruler in the 17th century in Jaipur? Previously known as Jaisinghpura Palace, it is one of the most important sites of Sikh worship in Delhi and is notable for its gleaming golden domes. And the temple is made of white marble. And you can see the langar where people can eat and where we can serve their service also.
Shree Sai Baba Mandir : Sai Baba temple is one of the oldest and prominent temples of Delhi. Sai Baba temple is located on Lodhi Road, Delhi near Jawaharlal Nehru stadium. The temple is built in modern style. There is a prayer hall in the temple and in the same hall, the idol of Sai Baba is placed.
The temple is looked after by Shri Sai Bhakt Samaj (Regd). The organization was registered in October 1968.
Buddhist Temple : This temple is situated at Mandir Marg. Foundation of this temple was laid on 31st October 1936 and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on 18th March 1939. The temple is looking after by maha Buddhist society.
Have some break for fresh up and relax, lunch in local restaurant.
Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple : Finally, explore the Sri Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple on the bank of the River Yamuna. The word Akshardham means the abode of almighty. The sprawling pink sandstone complex spreads over 100 acres and showcases the grandeur of Indian history, art, culture, and values. It took over 7,000 master craftsmen and thousands of volunteers from all over the world almost 5 years to complete. The Mandir also consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, nine domes, and 20,000 murtis of sadhus and also have some refreshment inside the Temple complex.
Later in the evening drive back to the hotel.
