Today we take from your Home / Hotel and drive to Haridwar
Haridwar is an ancient city and an important Hindu pilgrimage site in North India's. Where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps), Har Ki Pauri hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshipping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps. Worshipers fill the city during major festivals including the annual Kanwar Mela.
Haridwar is one of the most ancient pilgrimage centres in India that has been reverence from times immemorial. Hari means Lord/God and Dwar means Gateway. Hence Haridwar means Gateway to the Lord.
These four spots have today become places where the Kumbh Mela is celebrated every 12 years in succession - Nasik, Ujjain, Haridwar and Allahabad. Later visit Mansa Devi Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to goddess Mansa Devi in the holy city of Haridwar. Mansa Devi Temple can be reached in two ways: on foot or by cable car.
Later in the evening attend Aarti at the Holy River Ganges ( Har – Ki - Pauri ). Later drive back to Delhi.
