Day - 1Cochin – Munnar By surface (Approx 130 KM, 2 Hrs)
Upon arrival at Cochin international Airport/ Railway station meet with our representative and drive to Munnar, the green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, spice plantations and a variety of flora and fauna. On the way enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cheeyappara as well as Valara faterfalls and lush green tea meadows. Check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 2Munnar
Morning after breakfast visit Mattupetty Dam; a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar, Kundala Lake- a natural lake with recreational facilities like boating and having excellent views of the Western Ghats as well as the forest surrounded by. Also visit Eco point and tea plantations along with the famous TATA Tea Museum, Blossom Park, Hydel park, etc. Afternoon you can visit Eravikulam National park; where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved and considered the highest hills of Munnar regions. Overnight at hotel.
Day - 3Munnar - Alleppey (Houseboat) By Surface (Approx 165 KM, 05 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey also knew as the Venice of the east by its special geographical features as the place is famous for its vast backwater stretches and paddy fields. By 12 pm you can board your traditional Kerala houseboat to explore the back waters and its serene beauty. Enjoy the ride; delicious cuisines and an overnight stay on board.
Day - 4Alleppey - Cochin By surface (Approx 50 KM, 01 hour)
Morning after breakfast from the houseboat, drive towards Cochin for a city tour to see the, Chinese Fishing nets - The huge cantilevered Chinese fishing nets that that droop towards the waters like over-sized hammocks have become a hallmark that represents Fort Kochi on the tourist map. Once just a fishing accessory, it is a now a big bait for tourists. Chinese fishing nets - Cheenavala in Malayalam - is believed to have been introduced in Kochi by Chinese explorer Zheng He, from the court of the Kubla Khan. The fishing net established itself on the Kochi shores between 1350 and 1450 AD.
The sight of the Chinese nets, suspended in mid air and standing in line on the beaches, when silhouetted against the sunset is breathtakingly beautiful. It is, undoubtedly, one of the most photographed sights in Kochi. For the best view of the nets, head to the Vasco da Gama Square, the narrow walkway that runs along the Fort Kochi beach.
Marine drive - Marine Drive is a picturesque promenade in Kochi, Kerala, India. It is built facing the backwaters, and is a popular hangout for the local populace. Ironic to its name, no vehicles are allowed on the walkway. Marine Drive is also an economically thriving part of the city of Kochi etc and later drop off at Cochin international airport/ railway station for the onward journey.
